Using Trusted Resources For Your Evolution

Each time you move your eyes, click your mouse, or change locations, you are provided with more information to fuel your thoughts; these are the building blocks of your reality.

Let’s say you’ve been visiting a website consistently for a while.  As you read the site, you notice similarities between what you are reading, and what is occurring in your life.  For instance,  the writer mentions a particular date on the calendar, and that date ends up being synchronistically significant for you. How exciting!

And so you visit the site consistently, reading updates, and searching for guidance that might bring you more synchronicity.

You’ve now got a trusted resource, and you’re excited for more guidance.

Now, hold on, friend, because once you identify a source as reliable, you’re going to start receiving messages en masse.  You’ve opened the gateway on this one by releasing resistance, and your Higher Self is going to take advantage of the clear route to your conscious mind.

So is what you’re reading the truth?

Here’s what ISN’T the truth:

This source is NOT your new Bible.

Do not take everything that is written in this source at face value.  If you blindly follow its direction without checking in with your inner self, then you are merely replacing one god with another.

OK, now back to the truth:

The communication from your trusted source may not always a secret code, significant date, or angel number. In fact, it might not look like a synchronicity at all.

Sometimes there will be communication that inflames you.  An article that ignites an angry fire in you— so much that you doubt the validity of your resource.  This information can’t be true!

“How could they write this here?  This doesn’t fit in anywhere in my life.  I don’t believe this. Now who do I trust?”

Perfect!  It’s working!

The Higher Self will use trusted external sources to challenge your belief systems about relevant life themes.

This content is intended to urge you to feel into an issue you’ve been avoiding. It will generally be associated with an old belief that needs the boot.  So the faster you face it head on, the smoother your life will be on the other side.

So let’s take a look at ways to view information from your trusted source.

You see something that stands out!  It’s news related to something you want to draw into your life!  Your heart jumps!  You can’t catch your breath!  Finally, a breadcrumb!

Now if you are living within heavy limitations, doubt may soon flood your parade:

  • “You’re crazy to think that this was written for you.  Millions of other people are reading it too.”
  • “Don’t be so presumptuous.  You are not that important.”
  • “You are making something out of nothing.”

If this is you, statements such as these are related to self-worth themes. There might be some areas for you to explore there.

The fact is that the information you are reading can apply to any number of people, each in their own ways, and there’s plenty of information for everyone. Anyone can use it to create with. Multiple interpretations for one piece of information is an example of how perfectly orchestrated our Universe really is.

 

Now let’s look at that same information from another paradigm…one of excited anticipation:

  • “Ooh, that sounds like fun.”
  • “What could I do with that?”
  • “Does it bring up anything for me to look at?”

Looking at new information from this perspective takes the pressure off of you as a creator. It allows for creative participation in life by adding new building blocks sprinkled with wonder rather than doubt.  Could it send you on a new path?  Does it inspire you to research a new subject?  Create a piece of art? Feel closer to your goal?

Life was created for you to enjoy.  Dance! Use the information that comes to you to foster the adventure you want to live.  Whether that be angel numbers, spirit animals, or information that infuriates you…you get to choose which content you deem relevant, and to build your life using that symbolism. Use it to your advantage in the creative process.

Enjoy the synchronicities!  Revel over the breadcrumbs! Imagine the life you want to experience, and live it first in your thoughts, and then in your physical reality.  This is how you remember your power as a master creator.

Whose Voice Is That In Your Head?

Your busy day might leave little time for introspection. When on those rare occasions on which you do find time to meditate, you may have doubts about who it is you’re connecting with when you do. Is it safe to listen? Or are those voices in your head a symptom of insanity?

Concerns like these are normal!  Film and TV constantly relays the notion that inner voices in your head tell you bad things, and urge you to do bad things, and so should never be considered as valid advice.

The key is to listen to what the voice is saying to you.

Is it berating with a tone of condescension?  Is it reminding you of all the mistakes you’ve made over the years? Is it spiteful?  Or is it kind, and gentle?  Do you feel comforted when you hear it? Does it inspire something in you?

The tone and content of the message indicates which part of the vast YOU you’re currently connected with.

There is a process that will bypass the negative talk, and clear the path of communication to that inner guide that wants to see you succeed in this physical life.

Breathe.

You’ve heard it a million times, I know.  “Take several deep breaths.”  It’s the beginning of every meditation and initiates every yoga practice.

Do you ever skip that step?

I bet that there have been times when you, in a stationary race against time, sat down to meditate and you glossed over the breathing part to get right to the good stuff.

If this is you, then you may not be fully connecting with your Higher Self.  And that “good stuff” you were aiming for, can be replaced by a barrage of negative talk and a cyclone of unwelcome thoughts. It’s no wonder that many people fail to establish a regular meditation practice.

There is a reason that breath is included prior to these practices.  Because it opens the pathway to Source.  Not just figuratively, but literally.

Breathing has both physical and energetic benefits.  Not only are you oxygenating your organs, but you are also opening a clear conduit to your Higher Self that, in most people, the ego blocks by default.

The ego is an important part of our physical existence.  A key element in maintaining the time/space physical reality in which we live, the ego is the looking glass through which we view this Earthly illusion.  So if you are having negative thoughts as you meditate, then continue breathing until the negative talk subsides.  Here is the inbuilt benefit from breathing that applies to all of us:

Your ego is designed to move to the background when you focus on controlled breathing.

This is when your Higher Self has a chance to be heard.  This voice may sound like your own, or like your favorite grandfather (alive or not), or perhaps like no one you have ever heard before.

And this voice will never, ever, ever, ever, be harsh.  It will never degrade you.  It will never urge you to do—or even think about—harm to another.  It will have your, and all others’, best interest in mind.

Should you be hearing otherwise, then continue breathing.  Breathe longer than you think you should.  Focus on each breath, until the calm settles over you.

Try ten deep breaths.  That may be more than you’ve ever done in one stretch before.  The idea is to get beyond the mind fidgets, and to clear the path for communication with Source.

Once you notice the subtle changes in your thought patterns, and feel your body relax, then it’s time to  begin the dialogue with your Higher Self.  Ask it for direction and feedback about how you are doing.  Is there anything that can make this journey easier? More fun? More rewarding?

The You behind the curtain will always be there for gentle, positive guidance.  This is the You that wants to see you succeed.  The trusted coach, the loving guide.  The information you receive will sit well in your gut, which has its own brain, by the way.

No matter where you are on in your personal evolution, controlled breathing will always validate your connection to your Higher Self. So please, take the time to clear your channels by putting the ego to sleep for a time. I’ve listed some resources below on breathing techniques in case you’d like to learn more.

I think you’ll find great rewards waiting inside of you.

Find Your Life Themes

Each soul has boundless opportunities to explore life in any number of forms, scenarios and timelines. Those souls who choose to express themselves on Earth (that’s you!) incarnate with the aim of exploring certain themes for learning purposes.

If you went to college, you also chose a theme.  You called it your “major” and sometimes, you added a “minor” because you were so excited about the options that you couldn’t choose just one.

Well, life isn’t all that different.  Since life is about eternal creation, your soul narrows down your human expression into themes as well.  This allows us to hone in on some skills we’d like to sharpen, and to explore existence through a certain set of filters for the purposes of perspective.

What kind of themes are there to choose from?

I had a teacher in high school who assigned reports, due in 2 weeks’ time, about anything. She didn’t dictate what the report was about, but rather allowed us to choose a subject we wanted to learn more about, and make ourselves experts in the subject.

And classmates balked.  They threw up their arms in exasperation:

“What do I write about? She needs to be more specific.”

“She can’t do that to us, we need an idea of what she’s looking for.”

And the best one….”I have no idea what I am interested in.  How can I write a report about it?”

 

Humans are trained to require external supervision, and to doubt the inner desires as invalid.  But your soul is having none of that, because it realizes its power as the creator of its reality.

So there are an infinite number of themes to choose from, thank goodness.

And your soul has many reasons for choosing particular themes, including reworking other-life imbalances, pushing creativity to the limits despite strict social constructs, and contracts to assist others in their journey.

Can you see how remembering these themes while you’re still in the body can make your path a little bit clearer?

 

Themes are as varied as personalities are.  Here is a quick questionnaire to determine the themes in your currently-focused lifetime:

  1. Are there lessons that keep occurring that you thought you had already figured out?
    • Example: You keep dating the same kind of person, even though your relationships don’t work out.
  2. Do you find yourself searching for someone/something and can’t seem to find what you’re looking for?
    • Example: Twin Flame, Soul Mate, Tribes, Extraterrestrial contact
  3. Are you experiencing recurring chronic medical issues?
    • Example: Rashes, accidents, or repeated infections
  4. Do you experience repeating symbols in your daily life whose meaning you haven’t discovered yet?
    • Example: Birds, recurring numbers, or songs

 

If so, write them down, and ask yourself what theme they could be related to.  Look at the symbolism involved.  For instance, do birds occur every time you’re thinking of a loved one? This could indicate a theme related to your accepting the validity of communication from other realms.  Birds are often used by loved ones to send you messages!

 

Here are a few of my own themes being explored in this lifetime:

Occurrence: Repeated unexpected disasters
Theme: strength to overcome anything life can put before me.

(It took the loss of my home in a hurricane, the loss of a child, a debilitating motorcycle accident, and homelessness to figure out this one! Please don’t follow in my footsteps!)

Occurrence:  Repeated images and references to water
Theme:  Learning to let things flow

(Recognizing this theme allows one to relax into the unknown.  There will always be surprises, so let them come as they do.)

 

Occurrence: Struggling with finding time to make art
Theme: Valuing creativity

(This theme underlies all others, and applies to all of us in that, ultimately, we will come to remembrance about our roles as creator of our own reality.  Art is a great way to start recapturing that power.)

 

So which themes are you exploring in this lifetime?

Here are a few additional themes currently being explored by those incarnated on Earth at this time:

  • Soul mates (an agreement to collaborate with another while incarnated)
  • Finding your Twin Flame (integration with Divine Feminine / Divine Masculine)
  • Light vs Dark and the Resistance Movement (the exploration of polarity)
  • Having children or not having children (exploring mortality)
  • Extraterrestrial presence (accepting diversity, and the right use of power)
  • Fluidity (accepting the unknown, the unexpected, and the undesired)
  • Accepting things as they are (exploring what is, and is not, under your control)

Knowing your particular themes will help you create your life in alignment with your soul’s plan. When you’ve found a few, try incorporating them into your Allowing Project journal to solidify your commitment to expansion in those areas.  As you identify your themes, you’ll recognize them when an experience relates to them.  This allows you to be more mindful of the message being sent, and cataclysmic experiences will disappear from your life.

Go out there and create!

becoming ambidextrous as you awaken

Happening Now: Ambidexterity

You are a spiritual and biological being. As you expand your non-physical consciousness, you also expand the capabilities of your physical body.

I recently noticed that I use my left hand to do more things. Traditionally a right-hander, the left hand was the one that held stuff when the right hand was busy.  Yet now, I use both hands equally to accomplish a task.  And yes, even writing.

Left-handers are Earth’s marvel.  How they must curl their fingers just so, and bend their wrists so unnaturally, merely to get words on paper.  It looked painful, and not worth the bother, with so many equal-opportunity keyboards sitting around.

By the way, studies show that left-handers are more artistic, better express themselves, and craft more satisfying days, than right-handers do. All characteristics I’d love to incorporate into my more evolved Self.

Now, Lightworker, here’s where considering such developments gets fun.

You’re becoming a Superhuman.

With each limitation you throw out the door, a new ability replaces it.

 

Let’s use our increased motor skills as an example.

One day you are right-handed.  The next day you notice that you are opening bottles, and possibly even writing, with the other hand. If you are a baseball player, now is your time to go for the gold.  For the rest of us, this new development may be somewhat of a surprise.

So what happened?

As you spend time reviewing your beliefs—changing them to better reflect the authentic You, and applying those new beliefs to your daily experiences—you grow exponentially.  Since all thoughts filter through your belief system first, your attitude gets an upgrade. And since you are creating your reality with that new attitude, you start to feel better about yourself, emotionally and physically.

Your body is the physical representation of how you feel about yourself.

When your self-esteem is rejuvenated, so is your body.  You look and carry yourself better.  You unlock abilities that have been awaiting activation. You head towards superhuman each time you learn that a certain limitation you were previously living under, is untrue.

Of course, you will look to explain a new ability’s emergence.  It’s normal to want to know how this new ability came about and why it’s relevant for you in this lifetime.

There will be an explanation of your progress on several levels.

On the 3D physical level, you now handle any physical tasks that require equal hand use more efficiently. Your left-hand activation indicates increased development in the right portion of the brain.  The creative part.  The musical part.  It’s your imagination station.

If you have suddenly developed skills in your non-dominant right hand, then you show increased development in the left brain.  You’re better able to use reasoning to solve challenges in various situations, where previously, thoughts would bounce around in your head in a whirlwind of indecision. You may also find that your mind is clearer and can get to the point more rapidly than before.

On the 4D energetic level, you are integrating your selves. The reason we are all here on Earth at this time is to learn to love ourselves through relationships with others. This new development is a physical manifestation of your updated beliefs. You have released limiting doubts about what’s possible for humans to accomplish on Earth. Each time you meet another human out there, and accept them despite their differences from you, you have integrated another aspect of yourself.

If you have access to your 5D level, that part of you who sees a bigger picture of your Earth plan, then the dawn of these new abilities is in indication that your internal bonds are getting stronger. Your integration is progressing along nicely. You have shown yourself that you can handle more evolution. Buckle up for the ride!

What better confirmation than unpacking an ability that can make your physical life more efficient in a myriad of ways? After all, this awakening is about the merging of yourself on all levels. The energetic You, in balance with the physical You.  Feet on the ground, head in the clouds, and loving the privilege of living both at the same time.

So take a look at your hands.  Thank them for all that they do.  And for fun, try writing with your non-dominant hand to see what happens.  Or go try your hand at baseball.

I bet you’ve got it in you, Master Creator.

why we sigh

Why We Sigh

That loud, audible exhale.  Everyone has done it, and everyone has heard it.

We’re all familiar with the sound of a sigh.  It doesn’t differ much across the globe; it’s recognizable everywhere. Most people are in the habit of sighing unconsciously.  Are you aware of when you sigh?

And do you know why you sigh?

The dictionary explanation of a sigh pretty much sums it up:

“To emit a long, deep, audible breath expressing sadness, relief, tiredness, or a similar feeling.”

In the literary world, a sigh is a powerful indicator of a character’s current state:

“to feel a deep yearning for (someone or something lost, unattainable, or distant).”

So whether it’s the protagonist in the novel you’re reading, or it’s you in your physical world, the sigh is used to express things we don’t want to choose words for.

It of course a means of expression for a wide range of feelings.   Sadness and relief are top contenders as noted above, but I’ll add a few of my own:

All-out sick-of-it-all-ness,

I-don’t-know-if-I-can-do-this-ness,

and please-get-me-out-of-here-ness.

As Lightworkers, we are tasked with the awesome job of maintaining the highest frequency possible.  Not only in our own lives, but for the collective as well.  And sometimes, it just gets to be too much.

Enter the sigh.

Your sigh is not merely a release of air.  There exists that 3D explanation for sure; but your sigh is also an expression on non-physical levels as well.

Along with your sigh, you are sending your intentions out to the Universe.

Those feelings of sadness, despair or any other low state of being, absolutely must be processed and let out. So the sigh is a great accomplice in the jailbreak of trapped energy.

Here’s where it can go wrong.

If you catch yourself sighing unconsciously, then you are sending out another message along with your sadness. Something you probably don’t want to be sending out:

“Things aren’t OK the way they are.”

Your thoughts create your reality.

So what kind of reality will result from a thought such as that?  More things not being OK.

I know that many sighs are completely unconscious on our part.  It’s a programmed response built very deep into a culture that thrives on derisiveness.  And it’s just one more way that the limitations under which you’re living—and that you are about to bust out of—keep the things that you’re wanting hidden from you.

There is an easy way to fix this, by the way.

If you catch yourself sighing, rummage down into your feelings and ask what your intention was with that sigh.  What were you thinking that made you sigh?  Get to the thought and feel it.

Perfect.  Now you’ve placed your focus on the feeling and have acknowledged it.

There is a belief in there for you to re-evaluate.  You can thank the sigh, send out an intention that is more in line with what you’re wanting to create (such as “Things always work out for me, even if this situation sucks”), and move on.

And don’t forget!  Everything is as it should be.  The time is now.

Do mind-altering substances help or hinder the awakening process?

If you take mind-altering substances such as marijuana, LSD, ayahuasca, peyote, San Pedro, DMT or hallucinogenic mushrooms, and feel guilt, consider exploring your societal programming and beliefs about people who regularly alter their minds.

By asking two simple questions, you can gain insight into whether mind-altering substances are assisting, or hindering, your awakening journey.

1. Does the expansiveness remain after you return to your regular state?

2. How do you treat other people when you are “out in the field?”

By reviewing your answers, you will determine if the results of your altered states have a lasting impact on your self-development.

Decriminalization of Hallucinogenic Plants: Mainstreaming Alternate Realities

Yesterday Oakland was the second city, following Denver, to decriminalize the use and ownership of psychoactive plants, specifically psilocybin-infused mushrooms.

Last week I published a video about the use of mind altering substances during your awakening process.  If you haven’t seen it yet, in it I stress that you will be taking full responsibility for yourself and your actions while in an altered state; and no judgments are issued by me, based on your choice to use or not use them.

The emphasis on this new development is really on how our collective’s opinion on what is reality? is changing.  For those who tend to focus negatively on Earth’s doomed fate, developments such as these are great indications that we are headed in a positive direction.

The decision makers for both cities allowed the public to voice its opinion, and it shared experiences of physical, mental and spiritual healing as a result of the use of mind-altering substances.  Denver was the flagship city for decriminalization, which puts the ownership and use of hallucinogenic mushrooms at the bottom of the list of crimes And for Oakland, at least, the decision to decriminalize mushrooms was unanimous.

On an esoteric level, it’s a huge boost forward, because the Collective (that’s the combined frequency of everyone on Earth) is now widening its vision about reality, conceding that altered states don’t necessarily mean you are “crazy,” or that you are taking them to escape your current reality.  Rather, there are other realities out there to explore, should you release the doubt long enough to venture over there. Lots of ways to do that; plants are merely one way.

It’s always up to you.  Perhaps it’s a way to help you feel safer diving inward, deep into the part of you that is working behind the scenes to create the life you desire.  This inner focus brings energetic blocks to the surface for you to face head on; helps you review your beliefs about situations; and suggests more positive outcomes than the one you were previously focusing upon.

Revision of your beliefs will result in the clearing of your path, as old energy is removed and replaced with more positive beliefs about your inner power.  If you are interested in finding those old energy blocks, view the Energetic Crosshatching video for one process that may help you. how to not expect the worst

How to Stop Expecting The Worst

A new situation has just arisen for you, and you are worried about the outcome.  Do you immediately assume that the worst will happen?

If so, you are not alone. In our modern Western society, survival fears run rampant. It would be a normal response to fear an unknown outcome since you are programmed—through advertisements, news and entertainment—that your very life might end if you are not vigilant of all inherent dangers.

But if you look back in your life, I can say with 100% accuracy, that there was a time that you expected the worst to happen, and it didn’t.  In fact, it’s likely that something unexpectedly awesome happened instead.

Let’s do a quick test of your beliefs about this concept:

 

Think about a time when you worried about something that never happened.

When you expected the worst. When you stayed up at night in an anxious fit because you weren’t sure if you would make it through.  When you truly worried if you would be out on the street living in a cardboard box under a bridge.

 

Now we’ll divide that scenario into two parts:  What you expected to happen, and what actually happened.

 

Bring yourself to the beginning of the situation, when everything was up in the air and things were chaotic.

What does that feel like to you? Pay attention to your senses and feel that scenario once again.

If you are new to recognizing your feelings, here are some examples:

  • Your mind gets very sharp, as if on alert. (Fear)
  • You hold your breath. (Ready to run)
  • Involuntary shaking (Dread)

Chances are, your body cramped up, your breath was choppy, and you felt like you wanted to bolt. These are indications of the beliefs you held about how things work out for you. While you were contemplating the outcome of your situation, your beliefs directed your reactions.  

That feeling indicates your belief at the time you registered that memory.

 

Now let’s look at the other part:

The worst didn’t happen. 

Now what does that feel like to you?

If you are new to recognizing your feelings, here are some examples:

  • Your muscles relax. (Relief)
  • Your gut feels like it’s been washed over with warm water.  (Calmness)
  • You take a deep breath. (Alignment with your Source)

If your feelings changed between “expecting the worst” and “the worst didn’t happen,” then that situation arose to give you the opportunity to change your beliefs.

 

Now whether or not you chose the new belief at that time and place, only you know.  If you didn’t, then you are not alone.

You can use that past scenario to change your beliefs NOW.

Next time a situation arises in which you automatically jump to expecting the worst, reach for the feeling you felt last time when the worst didn’t happen.

Grab for that better feeling, and then move your mind along on its way to a fun subject.  Each time you perform this switch, you solidify the new belief and decommission the old one.

Hopefully, you recognize that you have all of the building blocks for a positive life, right there for use.  It’s merely a matter of choosing a building block that supports your desires, rather than those that no longer support you.

Experiencing Negative Events? You Are On a Treasure Hunt For Power

When unwanted things happen, we tend to blame the people or circumstances around us as the cause.

When I hear others detailing the negative experiences that are occurring for them, I might remind them of the fact that they are creating their own reality.

Now depending on how much internal exploration they’ve done about their beliefs, I could receive responses that range from “you’re crazy, why would I create that for myself?” to “it’s someone else’s fault that I’m in this position.”

I am going to tell you again.  And I am merely one of a multitude of resources telling you the same thing:

You are creating your entire reality.  All of it.  Positive and negative alike.

You will continue to have “negative” experiences until you realize that you are creating every single experience in your reality with the thoughts that you send out.

This is something worth repeating.  And it’s not because you are dense, or a slow learner, or stubborn.  It’s because you have inserted yourself into a reality in which we have all agreed to play under certain terms.  Those terms include a mass dream in which you forget that you are the creator.  We navigate our way through the system, blaming others and wishing for things that we don’t have, because we believe that the power is out there.  That we must do something, or be someone, or win someone’s favor to get what we want.

This belief that others have more power than you has been hammered into you since birth.  This was intentional, because if you are reading this right now, you wanted to engage in the treasure hunt for your personal power.  You wanted to forget who you are, and to gradually gain remembrance of your creative powers as you navigate through life.

So if your thoughts start on a negative trajectory, building momentum from one negative thought to another, state the fact to yourself that you remember.  You remember that you are creating it all.

This concept will bloom like a flower in your awareness the more you insert it there. And those situations in which you could blame another for something happening to you?  You’ll recognize that you brought the situation to form, in order to explore a belief that may need housecleaning.

With each belief that’s reviewed, you make the flip from blaming the external for your situation, to acceptance that you created it in the first place.  This allows you to shift your focus to creating things you would prefer.

And as you reclaim your power as the creator, your horizon widens to encourage your imagination to dream bigger.

You are creating it all.  So make it good.
