Hearing Crickets Inside Your Head? Lucky You.

Humanity is activating the sixth sense: Intuition.

Source communicates with you through many channels.  The five you’ve been using all this time are your current go-to senses, because historically we’ve been told that they are the only reliable ones (despite 6 in 10 people needing glasses.)  Information that arrives from elsewhere—those other feelings that we all have, and want to believe in—has habitually been discredited as sketchy and unreliable.

We’ve all felt such signals.  A few examples:

  • Something brushing across the skin
  • Sudden changes in temperature
  • Voices in your head
  • Sensing someone else in the room

Experiencing a sensation in our bodies is no new thing. But correlating them with a message; now that’s where the link got broken when we incarnated into human form.

This was intentional!  You wanted to encounter such activations as part of the ascension process; to revel in the unveiling of new “impossibilities” as doubts fall away.

New channels of communication reveal themselves by piggybacking on one of your five main senses.

For instance, your eyes are the mechanism that registers that blue light you keep seeing in your peripheral view.

You use your nose to smell your grandfather’s cigar on a Sunday afternoon, even though he’s been gone for a decade.

But the ears…
Now there is true love.

The ears are the mechanism we’ve been using to register sound

Sound will do more to propel your awakening process than any other method of energy communication.  Why?  Because all of creation is made from it.  It’s the language of the Universe.

You are a sentient being, singing yourself through life.
Literally and figuratively, you are a song.

Sound needn’t come in through the ears; that’s just an idea we believed while we were growing.

Changes in what you hear, how you hear, and which part of your ear hears it…are all first indications of a reactivated ability to detect subtle frequencies coming in.  Delicate tuning forks are hiding in the ear canal, waiting to be stimulated; and you betcha that Source is going to utilize them in hopes that you pay attention.

It might start with an uncontrollable itching, deep inside your ear.

Totally maddening, since you can’t reach it from the outside, and there is nothing physical that you can do to make it stop.

This is a great sign!  The awareness that there is even a PLACE inside your head that can send you into a frenzy of mysterious itching, is like the blossoming of a new flower in your consciousness. (Find out the symbolism of itchy ears  here.)

So now that you’ve acknowledged a new channel, Source will ramp up the use of it.

Enter the crickets.

In the same area of that maddening itch….you may hear….chirps.

Most people describe these chirps as the sound of cricket song, but a few people have described the sound as if someone is shaking a bag of coins.  Either way, you’re receiving embedded information through these sounds.

For me?  The chirps are “confirmation.”

Thought, thought, thought, conclusion. Chirp.

In other words, “You’re on the right path.  Keep going.”

If you’re hearing such chirps, take note of the thoughts that led up to the sound, and remember that nothing  in life is random.  Even occurrences with a physical explanation are still not random.  It takes some repetition for human mind to connect the dots sometimes, so be patient with yourself.  Gentle observation rather than creative desperation is the way to go here.

Here is a springboard message for you:   “Benevolence.”

Crickets have a long and beloved history as symbols of good luck.   Their songs are celebrated worldwide and they are portents of happiness and good fortune.

They accompany humans along on major milestones, in many rituals and in many cultures, around the globe.  If you’re a poet, they are known to arouse poetic inspiration.  Live crickets are still sold in some stationery shops in China.

The cricket as a representation of benevolence is inherent in humanity’s “bank” of symbols.  These archetypes are available for activation when we search for deeper truth about something.  Every symbol can incorporate multiple meanings, depending on which level you view it from.  Black cats, for instance, are beloved comrades for the witch crew, and yet are omens of death for those with survival fears.  It’s always up to you to give things meaning according to your current world view.

By considering your messages as positive feedback , you’ll loosen the reins a bit, and trust yourself more.  Perhaps you’ll even make some daring decisions based on the belief that you’re living in a benevolent world.

So if you are hearing those mysterious chirps, celebrate your accomplishments!  You’re on the right path, and it’s a good one.

The Kitchen Spider: Guidance From The Web

When I was a little girl, a gentle being with large eyes told me that I would never be without a spider.

This statement didn’t fit in anywhere until early adulthood, after I’d had a few changes of residence under my belt.  The being was right; everywhere I live, a spider sets up shop in my kitchen. They are usually black widows, which wield the fiercest symbolism among all of the fearsome options in the spider kingdom.

My current kitchen spider has been with me for two years. She lives beneath the floor lamp that lights my artistic workspace, and after all this time, we’ve come to know each other well.

Why do spiders show up?

Bugs have historically been a source of terror for humans. Scapegoats, in my opinion, along with the snakes…they’ve been given a bad rap.  Think about it: When was the last time one lunged out of the corner to attack you?

Yet those who view the world as a dangerous place will be the first to squash them when they appear in spaces that we call “our own.”

Any sense of invasion is a fallacy, of course; for if a spider shows up in your environment, it is just as valid a part of your creation as the lamp it lives beneath. You may love it or hate it, or something in between, but it’s you who put it there.

How does squashing the things that you fear work for you?

Here’s a common response when I discuss my arachnid friend:

“But it’s just a spider.”

Everything you see, hear, feel and experience is a part of you. If you have labeled something as “Just a…. (anything),” then you have concluded that your existence is more valuable than someone else’s.

Expect this to come back to you.

So before you pull out the shoe, observe the spider from another level.

Bend down and look at it.  It’s safe…most of them don’t jump…(wink).

Ask yourself some questions:

Why is it there? What do spiders represent for me? How do I feel about them being in my space?

Such reflections will become standard for you as you awaken, for you’ll want to consciously apply your lessons to multiple levels. You’ll be addressing the creepiness enforced by social conditioning/Hollywood movies (physical level); exploring appropriate symbolism specific to you (emotional level); and taking responsibility for what shows up in your life (creational level).

Here are some common spiritual themes that may invoke a spider in your world:

The value of life in all forms. Does it deserve to live?
The right to live in a specific space. Is it impinging on my territory?
Victimhood. Is it out to kill me?
Powerlessness. What if it bites me while I’m sleeping?

My guides call the spiders “Veterans.”  After all, they lose everything each time the cleaning lady makes a good sweep (which apparently mine doesn’t), and they immediately set up home again when the coast is clear.  A representation of your own inherent qualities, if you choose to activate them.

Establishing a relationship with your kitchen spider

Consider how our indigenous cultures live in unison with the nature around them. Earth offers many examples of such symbiotic relationships.  If they can do it, then we all can do it.

…and realize that you may come to like the little bugger. What once was an irrational fear turns to curiosity, and then to fondness, and then to its own kind of love.

Even if spiders still scare you, adopting a “you don’t bother me, and I won’t bother you” attitude will yield some very positive results.  See what happens when you do this.  If you have children, introduce them to the spider, and discuss it with a sense of wonder rather than fear. The animal kingdom is quite receptive to a welcome environment, and respect is returned in kind.  If fear for your child’s safety overpowers everything else, then move the spider to a jar for rehoming outside.  This demonstrates respect for the well-being of everyone involved, while illuminating your current belief systems along the way.  Incidentally, my grown son has a kitchen spider of his own.

Your attention to repairing relationships with “Others That Scare You” sends out a powerful message to the Universe.  It shows your dedication to transformation for a more unified co-existence.  This intention calls immense power to you, for use in spinning your own Web of Creation…one based in integrity and respect for those who share your world.

All this…from “just a spider.”

Happening Now: You’re Transmitting to Humanity

Earth is making its move to Fourth Density.  And you, Lightworker, are a vital part of that.

Since COVID-19 has made its appearance and altered the behavior of virtually everyone on Earth, now is a perfect time for many people to evaluate their lives.  We as Lightworkers are tasked to do the same, but we’ve been at this a bit longer than most of the population, so perhaps for you it’s just another day of evolution.

Yet you may have, up until this time, wondered what your individual purpose is on this planet regarding this scenario.  With the onset of the virus (symbolic for connectivity), humanity has created an anchor; an event so significant that it changes virtually everyone on the planet and is recorded as a Primary Event in the annals of time.

Your purpose is multifold. Each of us is working on our individual goals and aspirations, all the while functioning as transducers of energy to the population while we’re accomplishing them.  Every individual contributes to the collective with their individual frequency; once we are conscious of that, we choose our creations knowing that everything we do affects the whole. So during this time, it’s a good idea to create with building blocks based in love.

Your visualizations are important right now.  What you imagine turns into form.  You can choose one of the current probable timelines, or you can imagine your own.  The important part is to use thoughts that embody unity, health, harmony and fulfilling the best and highest good for all.

If you want to keep tabs on what’s going on within the awakened collective, you may be interested in Daniel Scranton‘s daily channel messages.  They are short and succinct, with valuable information on what you can do to maintain your frequency and serve others during this event.

Are you up to the task?  If so, I’ll see you on that timeline.

Love to you.

man with itchy eyes
Awakening Signs, Featured, Life on Earth,

Itchy Eyes? You’re Missing Something.

Do your eyes get so itchy you think you’re going to scratch them right out of your head?

This can be maddening! If you are now experiencing this symptom, take note, and celebrate! For it’s a bittersweet gift being given to you, by you, during your awakening.

Our physical eyes are one of many receptors that our avatar uses to register the physical world around us. This physical world is an extension of your inner world, projected outwards. It’s your personal version of the game board we’re all sharing during this incarnation, molded into details specific to your current thoughts and beliefs about reality.

It’s uniquely yours, yet there are multitudes of non-physical assistants working all around you, just out of range of your physical eyes most of the time.  They are moving things in your vicinity; changing the details, leaving clues and messages to move you along.

The capabilities of your physical eyes are highly limited by societal constructs that promote aging. Countless ads tell you that your vision will soon fail if it hasn’t already; artistic endeavors abound by eyeglass manufacturers, to inject corrective lenses into modern fashion. Why? Well, mostly for profit, but on another level, this is an Earthly self-imposed limitation to keep you powerless….until you figure it out that you’re not.

Once you begin recognizing that you are an unlimited being, with all the creational abilities of Source, your eyes will become very useful tools.

Your visible spectrum will expand, and you will see more colors, more movement by the entities that are sharing your physical space with you.

So those itchy eyes are letting you know that you’re healing this portion of yourself. In those moments of itchiness, take the time to look around you at the details of your surroundings.  Is something different?  What have you been walking past over and over, and not noticed?  Use conscious intent as you survey things. “What am I missing here?”

It could be something such as that the color of your bedroom has suddenly changed to a lighter hue. For me, my itchy eyes brought me to my bathroom, where I suddenly noticed that the two matching beige rugs that I’d bought as a pair, no longer matched. They were two different, distinct colors now.

These subtle changes in detail are indicators of several things:

  • You’ve changed timelines. Do you like the timeline that you are on?
  • Synchronicity. Are you recognizing it on a regular basis?
  • Your eyes are ready to see things clearer. Are you ready?

Those itchy eyes are gearing up for their full potential, which is much broader than the .03% of the spectrum that they currently see. And each and every one of the 75% of people that use eyeglasses can change that vision in an instant, when their beliefs about their own power melt those doubts away. For most humans, this won’t be an instant process, so don’t get discouraged if your vision isn’t crystal clear overnight.

As you peel away the doubts and regain your power, your ability to see will improve both in acuity, and conceptually.  Things may seem more symbolic right off the bat, as in, “That’s the third flamingo image I’ve seen today.” This is how your Higher Self gets messages through, and your eyes play a major role in showing you your own reflection.

So next time your eyes itch, take a look around.  Ask yourself, “What have I been missing?”

You have all of the answers inside of you, waiting for your questions. You are unlimited, and your eyes are reminding you of this.  With gentle, conscious focus on the details of your surroundings, your eyes will be master receptors of the clues left there for you to find.
What do you want to see?

guide in camouflage
Featured, Life on Earth, The Esoteric,

How to Locate Your Guides in the Physical

Your physical world is a mirror of what’s going on inside of you. As within, so without, so we say.

As you go about your day in the 3D world, your guides from the non-physical constantly place symbolic reminders in your environment, hoping you’ll see them and note the connection to a theme you’ve been contemplating lately.

For instance, if you’ve been thinking about buying a new car, and you were wondering if you should buy it in blue, rest assured you’ll being seeing the exact car—in blue— everywhere you look. Seriously, in mathematically impossible proportions.

You may previously have labeled such things as coincidences, but now you remember that you are creating your reality. Then, they become something else: Your thoughts made into form.

It’s not limited to seemingly inanimate objects, either. You have many guides who show up in your purview to deliver you a message. Chances are, you miss most of them in our busy world full of devices to stare at.

Those that appear in human form are the easiest for you to interact with. They can dart into your line of view from nowhere, and dart away just as quickly. Some will simply disappear in front of your eyes, to give you the added challenge of reviewing your beliefs about such things.

Remember: Nothing is random. Nothing. If it’s showing up in your view, then there is a reason for it. And the fact that it caught your attention gives it even higher clout.

Next time you have an hour, go sit in a busy place. Get a tea, and put your phone away. Observe the people around you, and let your eyes wander. It won’t be long before someone appears that catches your attention. Now watch that person and ask yourself a few questions.

First, use your brain to gather information. Like you are studying for an important test and want to remember as much as possible, take careful note of details. You are getting a download, right there, in the physical.

How is this person dressed?

Like a homeless person? Similar to you or vastly different?

Remember colors, repeating elements (once I saw a man wearing a completely tie-dyed outfit, including shirt, jacket, pants and even socks), or other things that stand out about their clothing. Pay attention to printing on T-shirts, jackets, or bags they are carrying. Note repeating numbers.

What are the person’s physical characteristics?

Pay attention to the ethnicity, height, weight (are you judging?) and posture. The majority of my guides fall into two categories: gorgeous black men with peaceful eyes, and a stubbly-whiskered white man with a Cheshire Cat smile, who has recycled himself in multiple cities.)

Which props are being used?

Since they have a whole stage to act on, your guides will use any props they can to get a message through to you. From a man transferring deadly canola oil from a large bottle to a small one on the street in front of me, to a homeless man emptying out his bag to show me his valuable meteorite collection; the props used are powerful symbols and offer volumes of information to you through symbolism.

What are they doing with the props?

Their actions with the props will tell you even more. Register the movements, and notice if any are being repeated over and over. This is an indication that the gesture itself holds a message for you.

Are there words?

This aspect of your encounter is the most fun. Focus and take in as much as you can. If you have a notebook, write it down as soon as possible. I promise, you will refer to it later.

What are they saying, and with what tone?
You might notice that the words are spoken in a contemplative manner, for instance: “Wow, it’s already been 9 weeks since my mother passed away.”

Are they speaking about others, or about themselves, or to you?
Is it gibberish or cohesive talk?
Does it refer to things that you’ve been thinking about, grappling over, or just encountered recently?

Do others appear to see them or not?

Are people stopping to watch the person, or do they just walk by like the person is invisible?

Most of my guides are not seen by the rest of the crowd. Occasionally, they will attract the attention of others, such as one beautiful black man, who was covered in scarves and adoring his reflection in the Starbucks window for an hour. He attracted 4 security guards and a lot of laughter from viewers. That was the day I couldn’t decide which scarf to wear, and finally in frustration, decided to wear none of them.

Now that you’ve recorded the major physical elements of your guide, use your inner wisdom to FEEL out the situation. This requires your focus inwards, to what your gut is telling you.

When the gut is included in the processing of the message, things get easier. It helps you count out possibilities, based on where you say you want to go. Does this feel good? Or bad? Noting these sensations is important because you’ll be using information from this encounter to create your reality.

What is the overall feeling of the scenario?

Is it playful? Mysterious? Silly? Does it leave you with questions? GOOD! Take note of whether you feel uplifted, puzzled, or excited. Your reaction to the scene from this perspective gives you a myriad of clues about your current world view.

If the message felt ominous, like when you read an Edgar Allen Poe story, then consider what parts of you expect bad things to happen. If, instead, you got a good laugh or scratched your head in wonder about its meaning, this can indicate that you are willing to consider that communication comes from many sources, and that life is meant to be a dance.

Remember that the message is delivered to you from a neutral perspective. It’s you that gives it meaning. The way you label things, prior to storing the data in your cells, is figuratively “time-stamped” based on your beliefs about the data at that moment.

In a world without time, your messages could refer to the past, the present or the future, in human terms.

Since everything is happening simultaneously, a message could refer to any timeline. This might be apparent only when the download is installed in your system, or in other words, when your consciousness has time to process it. The messenger could have brought further richness and humor to an experience you had earlier that day, like my “scarf” guide. It could let you know that the present path that you are on could use some course correction to create a different future, based on where you say you want to go.

Guides are everywhere for you. Once you allow the possibility of receiving messages such as these, you will be presented with all sorts of exciting opportunities, in the most unexpected places. Life is meant to be joyous, and creative, and exciting. There are other aspects of yourself who would love to see you feel the excitement of your creation, and not all of them live in physical bodies. Some just think themselves into physical form, just to serve you. To co-create with you. Remember that you are never alone out there in that big world.

Love to you.

leopard gecko
Awakening Rants, Life on Earth, Oneness,

Mean No Harm

There is a fruit fly that stays with me when I’m writing.

Perching on the laptop, walking across the screen.  Sometimes on the mouse, just where my thumb should be.

As I pull some oracle cards, it seems that wherever I am just about to put a card down, there is the fly; in peril of sudden demise during my morning reading.

“It’s just a fruit fly,”  I’ve had friends say. “Those and spiders….they don’t count.  Those get squished.”

Now I’ve long passed the period of judgment about the value of life.  If you get too deep into it, the militant vegans and the well-meaning carnivores battle it out, and I no longer wish to participate in that sort of thing.

Your interpretation of the value of life is yours alone.  And although I would never intentionally hurt a living being, there are times when it happens without my intention.

Like the time I stepped on a gecko on my porch, severing its tail.  I watched it wriggle around in what I imagined was excruciating pain—caused by me!!!!—understandably, after the severance of a major portion of its body.  I bawled my eyes out over my infliction of pain on a helpless animal.  Like for hours.  A bit of an overreaction, but that’s the sign that there’s more to the situation than at first glance.

Of course, tails can grow back on many species of reptiles.  But no matter.  I was in it for the lesson.

After days of contemplation, I adopted a missive whenever I contemplate the value of life:

Mean No Harm.

With these three words, one can view the cycle of life from a loving perspective.  And yet the subtle interpretation of these words can take on different meanings for different people.  And that’s a great way to live.  To allow others to interpret things as they will, and to remember that your different interpretation is just as valid.

I welcome you to try it.  Mean No Harm.

If you’re a spider squisher, pause for a minute before you pull the shoe out next time.  Does your action correlate with your current interpretation of “Mean No Harm?”

And if you are one of those that will spend an hour struggling to rehome a bug outside, ask yourself the same question.

What do the words “Mean No Harm” represent for you at this moment?  Has your definition of “Harm” changed?

There are no right or wrong answers. This is about you, evolving.  Being a Darwin, I take the lead in adding an appropriate pun:

You’re regrowing your tail.

As our perspective broadens, we revaluate our definitions of things. So asking yourself this question may bring beliefs to the surface heretofore unseen.  Any experiences since last contemplating this concept will enhance your opinion.

And as for the fruit fly, to me it’s a guide.  They come in all shapes and sizes, quietly presenting me with an option to give it relevance.  To me, it represents a tiny portion of the All, with just as much right to my environment as I have.  I am, therefore, very careful where I place my cards.

Love to you.

Whose Voice Is That In Your Head?

Your busy day might leave little time for introspection. When on those rare occasions on which you do find time to meditate, you may have doubts about who it is you’re connecting with when you do. Is it safe to listen? Or are those voices in your head a symptom of insanity?

Concerns like these are normal!  Film and TV constantly relays the notion that inner voices in your head tell you bad things, and urge you to do bad things, and so should never be considered as valid advice.

The key is to listen to what the voice is saying to you.

Is it berating with a tone of condescension?  Is it reminding you of all the mistakes you’ve made over the years? Is it spiteful?  Or is it kind, and gentle?  Do you feel comforted when you hear it? Does it inspire something in you?

The tone and content of the message indicates which part of the vast YOU you’re currently connected with.

There is a process that will bypass the negative talk, and clear the path of communication to that inner guide that wants to see you succeed in this physical life.

Breathe.

You’ve heard it a million times, I know.  “Take several deep breaths.”  It’s the beginning of every meditation and initiates every yoga practice.

Do you ever skip that step?

I bet that there have been times when you, in a stationary race against time, sat down to meditate and you glossed over the breathing part to get right to the good stuff.

If this is you, then you may not be fully connecting with your Higher Self.  And that “good stuff” you were aiming for, can be replaced by a barrage of negative talk and a cyclone of unwelcome thoughts. It’s no wonder that many people fail to establish a regular meditation practice.

There is a reason that breath is included prior to these practices.  Because it opens the pathway to Source.  Not just figuratively, but literally.

Breathing has both physical and energetic benefits.  Not only are you oxygenating your organs, but you are also opening a clear conduit to your Higher Self that, in most people, the ego blocks by default.

The ego is an important part of our physical existence.  A key element in maintaining the time/space physical reality in which we live, the ego is the looking glass through which we view this Earthly illusion.  So if you are having negative thoughts as you meditate, then continue breathing until the negative talk subsides.  Here is the inbuilt benefit from breathing that applies to all of us:

Your ego is designed to move to the background when you focus on controlled breathing.

This is when your Higher Self has a chance to be heard.  This voice may sound like your own, or like your favorite grandfather (alive or not), or perhaps like no one you have ever heard before.

And this voice will never, ever, ever, ever, be harsh.  It will never degrade you.  It will never urge you to do—or even think about—harm to another.  It will have your, and all others’, best interest in mind.

Should you be hearing otherwise, then continue breathing.  Breathe longer than you think you should.  Focus on each breath, until the calm settles over you.

Try ten deep breaths.  That may be more than you’ve ever done in one stretch before.  The idea is to get beyond the mind fidgets, and to clear the path for communication with Source.

Once you notice the subtle changes in your thought patterns, and feel your body relax, then it’s time to  begin the dialogue with your Higher Self.  Ask it for direction and feedback about how you are doing.  Is there anything that can make this journey easier? More fun? More rewarding?

The You behind the curtain will always be there for gentle, positive guidance.  This is the You that wants to see you succeed.  The trusted coach, the loving guide.  The information you receive will sit well in your gut, which has its own brain, by the way.

No matter where you are on in your personal evolution, controlled breathing will always validate your connection to your Higher Self. So please, take the time to clear your channels by putting the ego to sleep for a time. I’ve listed some resources below on breathing techniques in case you’d like to learn more.

I think you’ll find great rewards waiting inside of you.

Love.

Find Your Life Themes

Each soul has boundless opportunities to explore life in any number of forms, scenarios and timelines. Those souls who choose to express themselves on Earth (that’s you!) incarnate with the aim of exploring certain themes for learning purposes.

If you went to college, you also chose a theme.  You called it your “major” and sometimes, you added a “minor” because you were so excited about the options that you couldn’t choose just one.

Well, life isn’t all that different.  Since life is about eternal creation, your soul narrows down your human expression into themes as well.  This allows us to hone in on some skills we’d like to sharpen, and to explore existence through a certain set of filters for the purposes of perspective.

What kind of themes are there to choose from?

I had a teacher in high school who assigned reports, due in 2 weeks’ time, about anything. She didn’t dictate what the report was about, but rather allowed us to choose a subject we wanted to learn more about, and make ourselves experts in the subject.

And classmates balked.  They threw up their arms in exasperation:

“What do I write about? She needs to be more specific.”

“She can’t do that to us, we need an idea of what she’s looking for.”

And the best one….”I have no idea what I am interested in.  How can I write a report about it?”

Humans are trained to require external supervision, and to doubt the inner desires as invalid.  But your soul is having none of that, because it realizes its power as the creator of its reality.

So there are an infinite number of themes to choose from, thank goodness.

And your soul has many reasons for choosing particular themes, including reworking other-life imbalances, pushing creativity to the limits despite strict social constructs, and contracts to assist others in their journey.

Can you see how remembering these themes while you’re still in the body can make your path a little bit clearer?

Themes are as varied as personalities are.  Here is a quick questionnaire to determine the themes in your currently-focused lifetime:

  1. Are there lessons that keep occurring that you thought you had already figured out?
    • Example: You keep dating the same kind of person, even though your relationships don’t work out.
  2. Do you find yourself searching for someone/something and can’t seem to find what you’re looking for?
    • Example: Twin Flame, Soul Mate, Tribes, Extraterrestrial contact
  3. Are you experiencing recurring chronic medical issues?
    • Example: Rashes, accidents, or repeated infections
  4. Do you experience repeating symbols in your daily life whose meaning you haven’t discovered yet?
    • Example: Birds, recurring numbers, or songs

If so, write them down, and ask yourself what theme they could be related to.  Look at the symbolism involved.  For instance, do birds occur every time you’re thinking of a loved one? This could indicate a theme related to your accepting the validity of communication from other realms.  Birds are often used by loved ones to send you messages!

Here are a few of my own themes being explored in this lifetime:

Occurrence: Repeated unexpected disasters
Theme: strength to overcome anything life can put before me.

(It took the loss of my home in a hurricane, the loss of a child, a debilitating motorcycle accident, and homelessness to figure out this one! Please don’t follow in my footsteps!)

Occurrence:  Repeated images and references to water
Theme:  Learning to let things flow

(Recognizing this theme allows one to relax into the unknown.  There will always be surprises, so let them come as they do.)

Occurrence: Struggling with finding time to make art
Theme: Valuing creativity

(This theme underlies all others, and applies to all of us in that, ultimately, we will come to remembrance about our roles as creator of our own reality.  Art is a great way to start recapturing that power.)

So which themes are you exploring in this lifetime?

Here are a few additional themes currently being explored by those incarnated on Earth at this time:

  • Soul mates (an agreement to collaborate with another while incarnated)
  • Finding your Twin Flame (integration with Divine Feminine / Divine Masculine)
  • Light vs Dark and the Resistance Movement (the exploration of polarity)
  • Having children or not having children (exploring mortality)
  • Extraterrestrial presence (accepting diversity, and the right use of power)
  • Fluidity (accepting the unknown, the unexpected, and the undesired)
  • Accepting things as they are (exploring what is, and is not, under your control)

Knowing your particular themes will help you create your life in alignment with your soul’s plan. When you’ve found a few, try incorporating them into your Allowing Project journal to solidify your commitment to expansion in those areas.  As you identify your themes, you’ll recognize them when an experience relates to them.  This allows you to be more mindful of the message being sent, and cataclysmic experiences will disappear from your life.

Go out there and create!

how to know if a book is your next resource for waking up
Featured, Life on Earth,

Reading Gibberish? Bookmark It!

Newly-awakened people are ravenous for information about what’s been hiding in the corners of reality, waiting to be discovered.

In the search for truth, we devour entire blogs, subscribe to New Earth YouTube channels, and buy books with titles that would send a “logical, realistic” person running at full speed.

This is level 3 of the upliftment process, which in my upcoming VR game I call The Questioner.

The Questioner goes within, and attempts to determine the concept of “truth.”  What is reality?  What is fantasy? Why do I see things that others can’t? Why do I feel different?

These ponderances send The Questioner down the rabbit hole; following paths that relatively few humans, until recently, have dared to go, for fear of being cast out of their respective social structures.

But good news: If you haven’t noticed lately, it’s now OK to go down the rabbit hole.  Exploration fosters growth, and that’s why we’re here.

But how do you know that a book you’ve just picked up is the best next resource for your current awakening journey?

Here’s how:

Open the book to any page, (or click on a blog post, if you are online) and read one paragraph.

Now, how do you feel?

Did the author communicate from a positive perspective? Or was there blame, anger or aggression in the words you read?

If the message within the book is negative, then consider another resource instead.

And if the book is positively-oriented, you can determine if it’s a good next resource for you with two simple questions:

Do I want to keep reading this?

If what you are reading spawns even more questions about the subject material, then there’s a message for you in there.  Your Higher Self led you to this material, and it would be a good next resource on your journey.

Do the words look like gibberish?

Everyone can look back to an instance in our “past” where we read something, and thought, “That guy is bonkers. He must be on some good meds.” Perhaps his words sounded foreign, too science-fictiony or fantastical, and we doubted the validity of the claims he made. Or we had to read each sentence multiple times just to fathom what the hell he was talking about.

PERFECT!

If you read that sample paragraph, and it sounded like nonsense, then take note of the book title, or bookmark the site.  This is indication that it will be a resource for you soon, but not yet.

That’s why we might buy a book without knowing why, only to pick it off the shelf years later, at the perfect time in our development.

“Heh,” you’d say, “This has been here all along.”

So no matter how crazy that author sounds to you right now, if you were led to that resource, it will come into play sometime in your “future,” after your consciousness has expanded a bit more.

Nothing that arrives in your focus is by accident.

And if what I wrote seemed like gibberish, I love you!  And I’ll be here when you come back.

learning to become
Awakening Rants, Featured, Life on Earth, Oneness,

Move from a Human Being…to a Human Becoming

Do you want the secret of life?  It’s only one sentence.

Can it be that easy?  Well, easy is an attitude, not a process.  Yes, it can be that easy.

It’s more about your attitude than anything else.

The secret of life:

Move from being a victim to taking personal responsibility for every single thing that has, is, or will be happening to you.

For some people, that statement can be a big jump.  We’ve been programmed to give away our power to others: teachers, parents, the government.  After all, they know best, right?

Nope.  You know what’s best for you.  And you don’t know what’s best for others, so Step One:

Focus on you.

Catch that doubt that just dropped in—about being selfish to think like that—and toss that shit out the window.  That’s programming too, and unless you want to stay a victim, then throw it out. If you want your life to change, then you must put yourself in the forefront of your attention.  You can’t light anyone else’s torch without lighting your own first.

Now that we’ve got that down, let’s move to Step Two:

You are a powerful creator, who has decided to put a small portion of yourself into a low-vibrational state that looks solid, and you made that portion of you forget that you put yourself there.

You then set out to reconnect with the other parts of yourself, both visible and invisible. Part of the process of awakening is about remembering that you put yourself in the physical realm in the first place; and that most of you is somewhere else, waiting for you to acknowledge it. Once you have that connection back, you’ll realize the truth of yourself as the creator, by tapping into Universal wisdom that demonstrates, through “coincidences” and synchronicities, that your thoughts are manifesting into the physical.

The Universal laws apply whether you remember them or not. That’s how victims stay victims; by consistently thinking victim thoughts, labeling themselves and others as victims, thus attracting yet more situations of victimhood.  This will continue until one realizes the correlation of their thoughts to their reality.  If this is you, then you are well on your way to recognizing this truth.  It’s a good time to change, if you are tired of being a victim.

Once you understand that you created your reality, then you must take responsibility for every single thing that has happened to you, and also for your judgment of it.  Any feelings of victimhood were simply a choice, and other choices are always available.

If you’re reading this, you are realizing this truth.  As you cognize this truth, you will readily take back the power you previously relinquished to others and you will use this power to create a life that you do want.

Finally, Step 3 takes over until you’re done around here:

Recognize that the nature of Life is not just BEING, it’s about BECOMING.

This means that you are constantly expanding through the experience of situations and scenarios…situations and scenarios that you have created for that purpose.

“Being” changes to “becoming” when we embrace that truth, and allowing the higher self to take the joystick to steer us in the direction of our desires.  The act of “becoming” is a dynamic state, rather than a static one.

Ready to try it?  You can start with a mantra, stated with intention and resolve to live your life as a creator who, although you can’t see the whole picture yet, knows that other parts of you can.  It’s just a simple request for assistance:

“I’m a human becoming…help me to become!”

You can use anything you like to speak to the higher part of yourself that can see where you’re headed.  Since you’re endowed with free will, other aspects of “you” will only assist when asked to do so.  It’s you requesting help from yourself, so there’s never any power relinquished in such a statement.

Making the shift from “being” to “becoming” aligns you with the secret of life by right use of the main Universal laws that govern creation:

  • Law of Attraction, by drawing to you the people, events and situations that match your current vibration.
  • Law of Intent, by your stating your particular desires for expansion, and focusing on them with feeling.
  • Law of Allowance, by asking for a bit of help from other parts of you that can see more of the picture.

An entire world is out there for the creating. If you can imagine it, it exists.  Self-empowerment is the secret!

*This mantra is a suggested statement from the Handbook of the New Paradigm, written in 1999 by Gary Green.  I’ve included a link below if you want to delve into it more.
